General Care Guidelines

Always check the care label on your individual garment first. Unless the label states otherwise, follow the instructions below to protect the fabric, colour and shape of your Flexkyn pieces.

• Wash inside out – this helps protect the outer fabric surface and any printed details.
• Use a cold, gentle machine cycle – cold water preserves elasticity and colour, while a gentle cycle minimises stress on the fabric.
• Wash with similar colours – keep your darks, lights and brights separate to prevent colour transfer.
• Use mild detergent – harsh chemicals can break down performance fibres. A gentle, eco‑friendly detergent is ideal.

What to Avoid

• Do not bleach – bleach weakens fibres and causes discolouration.
• Do not use fabric softener – it coats technical fabrics and reduces breathability and moisture‑wicking.
• Do not tumble dry – high heat can shrink, warp or damage elastic fibres.
• Do not iron printed logos or trims – direct heat can peel or melt them.

Drying Instructions

After washing, reshape your garment gently and lay it flat to dry naturally, away from direct heat sources such as radiators, heaters, or strong sunlight. Avoid wringing or twisting the fabric, as this can affect the fit and feel.

Extra Tips for Long-Lasting Activewear

• Zip up, fasten up – close all zippers, hooks and clasps before washing to prevent snagging on other garments.
• Use a laundry bag – place delicate pieces or those with mesh panels into a mesh laundry bag for an extra layer of protection.
• Wash after every wear – sweat, oils and sunscreen can gradually degrade the fabric if left too long.
